Kiwi Marine Consultants Ltd (KMC) has been operating in Hong Kong since 1992 and was formerly incorporated in Hong Kong in 1993.  KMC provides a variety of marine consultancy and surveying services to leading P&I Clubs, Shipowners, Shipmanagers, Underwriters, Admiralty Lawyers, Brokers and other Principals.  

KMC was the first marine consultancy in Hong Kong to become certified to the ISO 9002 standard by HKQAA (Certificate No CC464) in 1995.

The Company aims to provide a quality service, on a 24 hour basis, in a timely manner and at a competitive price.  Prior to carrying out work on behalf of clients we request that they complete a Client Preferences (expectations) form (attached).  Upon completion of the appointment we also supply a Client Feedback form for their completion to ensure that we have fulfilled our obligations.

Using current technology, we are able to transmit preliminary reports, together with digital photographs, on the same day of survey, by email or fax, and final reports within 3 days of return to base.  Using current technology we have significantly reduced downtime and costs to our clients.

Our GSM mobile telephones provide world coverage ensuring contact with our surveyors in the event of difficult cases.  With our local knowledge, we can also assist Principals to solve many problems.
